Full Moon Circle with Cold Water Therapy

We’re inviting you to join us for a restorative and deeply nourishing session to reset with the wisdom of slowness of Winter’s Yin and the nurturing Cancerian moon as we work deeply with the water element in all it’s beautiful various forms.

The Season -

In the depths of Winter our energy has retreated inwards, the cycles of nature and the ‘water’ element of Winter invite us to hibernate, to reflect and restore so that we may conserve our energies during the Yin phase of the year and reap the rewards come Spring where we feel a sense of renewal and rebirth as we shift to Yang.

The Moon -

The Moon is reaching her peak fullness for our retreat and she falls in the water sign of intuitive Cancer. A sign that connects to our emotional realm. The Cancerian energies are mothering, feminine, nurturing and comforting. We are being invited to look at our self-care from an intuitive space, how we can tend to our emotional realm, this moon may be bringing emotions to the surface for healing and our retreat space will be a safe, nurturing space to allow and invite flow for all healing. The planet that rules cancer is the Moon so it’s extra special to be gathering on the full moon in cancer!

Cold Water Therapy -

We’ll be working literally with the water element in our beautiful location with a lake for cold water swimming. You may be thinking cold water doesn’t seem in alignment with winter and hibernation, but in fact it couldn’t be more in alignment. The cold water assists the body in withdrawing the blood to the body’s core, bringing the energy to the centre of the body and invigorating the whole system for a complete reboot, helping to build the immune system and restoring our energies deep within.

This session will include:

• Hot Tea on Arrival
• Opening of the Circle
• Discussion around the Seasonal and the Lunar energies
• Guided Womb Meditation
• Breathwork Session with Breatheolution followed by an optional Cold Water Dip
• Guided Movement
• Ceremonial Grade Hot Cacao and Plant-Based Snack Fireside Q&A with Breatheolution around the breath and women’s cycles
• Soul Journaling with guided prompts
• Full Moon Ritual
• Live medicine song to close the space
• Ritual Kit to take home

What to bring - loads of warm clothes, swimwear, wetsuit socks and gloves (if you have them), towel, eye mask, a hot water bottle, dressing gown/dry robe, journal and pen, offering from nature for the altar space.

There will be space to share, but there is never any pressure. This circle is about honouring you. If you’re new to this type of thing come with an open mind and know that this safe and nurturing circle will hold you.

Breatholution: Kevin O’Neill is helping people across the country through Breathwork, cold exposure therapy and self discovery. He’s taken over a thousand people into the cold water and has witnessed some incredible transformations time and time again around the water of the holotropic Breathwork. His work his helping so many in dealing with trauma, anxiety and PTSD recovery. Working with him changed my life in one session. He’s extremely busy and in-demand with an ever-growing following so we’re really excited to be collaborating with him!

The Nourishment: Lauren Breckon from Sin Free Kitchen will be providing our healthy treat and hot cacao. Lauren is my bandmate in Gypsy River, we will be singing the medicine song too.
